The Patriots were unable to get the job done Friday night, dropping the opening game of their home and home series with the Burlington Cougars by a score of 5 to 1.
Woods scored the lone goal for the Patriots, while Caracciolo made 36 saves on 40 shots in net.
The Pats will have a quick opportunity to respond as the home and home series continues tomorrow night at Westwood Arena.
The focus now shifts to Saturday, as the Patriots look to regroup, bring their game back home and get back in the win column.
