Patriots Pull Away in Third to Defeat St. Michael’s at the Fort
The Patriots continued their strong play at home, defending the fort with a 6 to 1 victory over the St. Michael’s Buzzers. After two evenly matched periods, the Patriots found another gear in the third, scoring five times to put the game away.
Caracciolo delivered a steady performance between the pipes, stopping 40 of 41 shots. Offensively, Cummins led the way with two goals, while Vacca, Cooksey, Hebblethwaite and S. Howard each added one.
With another home win secured, the Patriots now shift their focus to Friday night’s road matchup in Collingwood.
